Terms & Conditions of Sale
By accepting the Terms & Conditions, customers agree to read all our policies of sale.
These Terms are governed by English law. This means a contract for the purchase of Products through our site and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it will be governed by English law. You and we both agree to that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. However, if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are a resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
Payment for all orders is at point of sale and not at point of despatch. All prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the current rates and are correct at the time of entering the information onto the system. The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered plus delivery. You confirm that the credit or debit card that is being used is yours. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. We reserve the right to withdraw any products from this Website at any time and/or remove or edit any materials or content on this Website. We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any product from this Website whether or not that product has been sold; To be eligible to purchase products on this Website and lawfully enter into and form contracts on this Website under English law you must:
Register by providing your real name, phone number, e-mail address, payment details and other requested information
Be over 18 years of age
Stipulate a delivery address in the United Kingdom. Please note that PO box numbers, hotels and accommodation addresses are not acceptable
Possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us
By making an offer to buy a product, you specifically authorise us to transmit information (including any updated information) or to obtain information about you from third parties from time to time, including but not limited to, your debit or credit card number or credit reports, to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions.
When you place an order, we will require your name, delivery address, e-mail address, Without this information we will not be able to process your request or notify you of acceptance of your order.
A contact telephone number is also required so that we may reach you if there is a problem with your order, or if your order requires a delivery quote. We may, unless you advise us otherwise, pass this information to our couriers or other agents in case they need to contact you to arrange the processing or delivery of your order.
After you place an order, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order. However, please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted. Our acceptance of your order will take place as described below.
We will confirm our acceptance of your order to you by sending you an e-mail that confirms that the Products have been despatched (Despatch Confirmation). The contract between us will only be formed when we send you the Despatch Confirmation.
We cannot fulfil any orders in the event of any of the following:
The product you ordered being unavailable from stock
Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment
The identification of a pricing or product description error
Customers who fail to reach any order criteria set out in the Terms & Conditions
If there are any problems with your order, you will be contacted by one of our Customer Services Representatives either by email or by phone and, if we are unable to resolve the problems, we will not process your order. If you have already paid for the Products, we will refund you the full amount as soon as possible.
We reserve the right to reject any offer of purchase by you at any time. We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure but, in the absence of negligence on our part, we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Website.
Please note that you are entitled to cancel this contract if you so wish, provided you exercise your right no longer than eight working days after the day on which you receive the products. If you wish to exercise your right to cancel this contract prior to order despatch, please contact our customer services department on firstname.lastname@example.org. If your order has already been despatched please follow the procedure set out in Deliveries & Returns below.
You will receive a full refund of the price you paid for the Products and any applicable delivery charges you paid for. We will process the refund due to you within 7 working days. If you returned the Products to us because they were faulty or mis-described, we will refund the price in full, any applicable delivery charges, and any reasonable costs you incur in returning the item to us.
We will refund either your Paypal account or on the credit card or debit card used by you to pay.
Details of your legal right to cancel and an explanation of how to exercise it are provided in the Despatch Confirmation.
As a consumer, you will always have legal rights in relation to Products that are faulty or not as described. These legal rights are not affected by these Terms. Advice about your legal rights is available from your local Citizens’ Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office.
If you wish to return your ordered item(s), please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. Items must be unused and unopened in their original packaging. The full cost of the item will be refunded, excluding delivery charges, within 7 working days. Damaged items must be reported within 7 days of receiving the goods with proof of purchase and photographic evidence sent via email. You will be refunded in full once this has been confirmed.
Product Pricing, Descriptions, Images & Estimated Time of Arrivals
All prices published are in pounds sterling and are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate. Each product is sold subject to its Product Description. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. Although we aim to keep the Website as up to date as possible, the information, including Product Descriptions, appearing on this Website at a particular time may not always reflect the position at the exact moment you place an order. The images shown online and in catalogues are for illustration purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that your computer’s display of the colours accurately reflect the colour of the Products. Your Products may vary slightly from those images. Many products are also shown with additional props but these are not included in the sale of a product unless otherwise specified.
Sale items disclaimer
We have very limited stock of our sale items. Due to the fact our stock levels are updated once every 24 hours a product may sell out between the time you have placed your order and when we try to fulfil it. If this does happen we will contact you within 3 days with an alternative item or refund your money.
All product names, copy, product images, buttons, website graphics are copyright of Karibuni Children. No unauthorised use of copy, product tiles or product images may be used without our express written permission.
Please note that Soap stone is likely to fade if left in direct sunlight for prolonged periods. Double or triple glazed windows are able to slow the rate of damage caused by UV light, but we suggest keeping susceptible items away from direct sunlight.
