Family Fun Day 2016: Thank you!

Family Fun Day 2016: Thank you!

The 23rd July saw us hold our 2nd Family Fun Day!

We had stalls from Fair Trade, The Works Ice Cream, Holy Cow and Charlie’s Pots, and there were fantastic performances from the Ellesborough Silver Band, JBD Fitness and Dance and Magician Roger Dunlop.

Thanks to everyone’s support we raised over £1500!

We’re already looking at next year’s Fun Day, so stay tuned…

Am glad n impressed by the work you’re doing. I’d the the chance of working at the Kibera project as a night guard. It was while I worked at night that i pursued further education in social work and program Management. During that time from August 2001 to April 2005 I’d volunteer in recruitment of children and rescue some. Outstanding among these are brothers. Alex Zekoto and Andrew Kakala- nicknamed Kiriinya after myself. last time I heard, Alex was a form 3 student at Langata High school. Grateful that today I continue same work at AIC Kijabe Hospital as a Programs coordinator in a HIV/AIDS program. That brief at Tusaidie opened my eyes to identify a career for myself and today I thank God for touching lives.

Thank you for your enquiry. However, we do not make decisions about employment of staff in the projects we support as they are all employed by Methodist Church in Kenya. We suggest you contact the project direct.
