Priory raises £6,410 for Karibuni

A Total of more than six thousand pounds has been raised by Priory Methodist Church for the Karibuni Trust from
numerous fund-raising events held during the past year. The church, in Newnham Avenue, Bedford, recently presented a cheque to Michael Carr, the national fund-raising co-ordinator, the Rev. Maureen Jones, mission partner in Kenya for the Methodist Church, and eileen Davis, the co-ordinator at Priory.
Events at Priory for the whole family have contributed to the fund-raising. “we are delighted with the amount raised,” said Mrs Davis.

Since the presentation we’ve been advised that the sum raised has now reached £6550. It’s a truly amazing commitment from the congregation at Priory.
“It is sure to be put to good use in Kenya.”
